For quite a long time, every career path whose sand I dug my toes into seemed to be crawling with critters that would bite back at me. As early as middle school, I experienced societal and familial pressures to make sure my straight A+’s and spot in the top ten percent of my class didn’t “go to waste.”

I ended up changing my major four times in college. It wasn’t until spring of my fourth year that I addressed the elephant in the room: I loved to write.

As I powered through my bachelor’s in economics, research and connections led my post-grad experience to land…right back into school, beginning my master’s in what I knew I wanted. To me, writing for Gradxiety means teaching graduates to listen to what they truly want, keep an open mind, and understand that everyone’s path is different.

Born and raised in the DFW area of Texas, I’ve since traded my cowboy boots for ATL’s city life. After earning my degree in Consumer Experience Management from the University of North Texas, I realized I wasn’t just passionate about understanding people - I also loved creating for them. That’s when I became interested in marketing and social media on a full-time basis.

My journey with Gradxiety started because navigating the post-grad world felt overwhelming. I needed real-world experience, and they offered me a chance to jump in. What kept me there? The team and a mission I genuinely believe in.

If you’re looking for someone who brings a blend of strategic thinking and a whole lot of enthusiasm, drop me a line!

After graduating from UC Santa Cruz, I faced overwhelming uncertainty about my career path despite my education, with the job market feeling impenetrable and my university's career center offering little practical guidance. This experience—what I now call gradxiety—led me to partner with Silicon Valley entrepreneur Rolan to create a solution. Together, we built Gradxiety to provide recent graduates with the practical tools, specific strategies, and emotional support I wish I'd had during my own transition from college to career.

Everett Holbrook

My name is Everett Holbrook, and I don’t know what I want to do. I have stuck my nose into many different fields, like law and entrepreneurship, but nothing has truly grabbed my interest. I love to learn about, and try new things which is part of why I haven’t zeroed in on a single career path. Similarly, I have many hobbies from basketball, and golf to skateboarding, and surfing. I want to try and experience as much as I can.

This is what led me to Gradxiety and sparked my curiosity in learning to navigate post-grad life. As the youngest member of the team, and an undergraduate studying economics, I want to learn with our community. My goal is to prepare myself for the post-grad world and share everything I find. I want to help young adults like myself uncover their calling, personal or professional, and gain the tools and knowledge to help prepare to seize the opportunity when it comes.

Faith Huffman

Hey there! I’m Faith. I was born and raised in the Bay Area of California. I recently graduated with my bachelor’s in Business Management with a concentration in Entrepreneurship from Palm Beach Atlantic University. During my time in school I had an internship in digital marketing working more on the social media and email campaign side. I fell in love with digital marketing as I have always loved being a creator and I am looking to kickstart my career in this area. Unfortunately the job market has been a lot harder than it seems. That’s why I’m currently with Gradxiety. I couldn’t be more thankful for them to give me a chance to put my skills to work and to take this time to learn while I continue my search for a full-time role.

Joshua Kim

My name is Joshua Kim (call me Josh to cut two entire syllables because time is money). I'm a recent graduate of USC, and it's been humanities, humanities, humanities all the way through. History, which grew from choosing the military as my childhood obsession, Legal Studies, because turns out learning about human history could use knowledge of the rules they use, and the rules of how to make rules.

And most importantly for my internship at Gradxiety, Creative Writing, which I have been doing by puking words onto a page and shoving them into other peoples' faces for over a decade now. Of course, I only realized after graduating that communicating what I knew to those who didn't was crux of my desire for what to do in life. So while I work on my path to become a bestselling author that is definitely not indefinitely dragging along due to procrastination and choice paralysis, I hope I can contribute to some poor college student's hard, stress-filled life with my contributions to Gradxiety.
